Synopsis

The great Captain Lysander of the Imperial Fists recounts the deeds from his Chapter's history, using them to teach a group of aspirants about the meaning of war and sacrifice. Through the example of the Valican Pass where Siculus mustered his Scouts to protect a band of refugees to the Granite Sprawl where Hamander made a last stand against the Eldar and lastly, on Xanatar, when Chaplain Belisar came face to face with a renegade. Each of these great heroes faced a choice and only through understanding their deeds can new heroes be forged and the legacy of the Chapter live on. Read it because Ben Counter brings his trademark strong characters and detailed action to a series of tales that shed new light on the history of the Imperial Fists.
