Synopsis

Captain Sicarius awakens on Macragge after his defeat on Damnos, but all is not well in the Ultramarines fortressmonastery. He is to be placed on trial for his failure, but a worse fate beckons as he has visions of the necrons. Strange things stir in the darkness and something deadly waits in the shadows for its chance to strike... Read it Because Nick Kyme weaves a tale of intrigue and action as the necrons attack the Ultramarines’ home world of Macragge itself… or do they? Reality itself is in question as Captain Sicarius struggles with his defeat at the hands of the Undying and the enmity of his comrades – but can he trust them?
